Bike Maps

In celebration of May is Bike Month, we are sharing a few of the bike maps we've worked on.

Community Map Portal

Interwest GIS developed an online map tool for the City of Rancho Cordova - known as the community map portal.

The new community map portal site will allow the typical resident or business owner to quickly search for property related information, such as permitted zoning land use, garbage pickup day, school district, water service provider, political districts, and various other geographic related information. The basic idea behind this site is to provide a single information portal for the public to use to either get answers to their geographic related questions or be directed to a web site that can provide the information they are interested in.

Users are presented with easy to use search functionality to focus on a single property or investigate their surrounding geography. Over 50 map layers are provided for the user to turn on and off.

The map was created using the Esri ArcGIS Server flash plug in.  For more information regarding the tools and process used to develop this site contact Mark Dumford.
